fails to extract chinese text on german-locale system.

Trying out the e-PDF To Text Converter I downloaded this app and put it to the test with a simple two-sided three-fold brochure in its pdf form. The content was translated into text, RTF, JPGs, TIFFs, URLs (seemingly connected to PDF type faces) and some unknown category labeled "Inflated". These files were deposited neatly into appropriately-named directories. The PDF was distilled, in this manner, less than a minute. The text was then ready to be copy-n-pasted into other documents (in THIS case, a html version). Comment: e-PDF To Text Whether its possible to extract coordinate data from this converter. I mean to say, whether it is possible to get the position of each and every word on the particular page as well as the left margin and right margin value of each and every word through this converter. If not, is there any software is gettable to fulfill all the requirements.

Sadly it appears to be MS only. It would be nice to make this clearer. Apple's textutil program seems to have stopped allowing conversion of PDF to text.

need command line interface I need a command line interface for what i am trying to accomplish, and i was unable to determine if your pdf2text had one (no documentation, and the tool behaved the same whether parameters were passed on the command line or not -- a GUI popup appears). That being the case, this tool is not helpful for my specific task.

PDF2TXT was a life saver for me! I needed to extract text from PDF reports to load data into a database to produce statistical reports. The Adobe save to text file function was wrapping and folding the tabular data unpredictably in the output. Not only did PDF2TXT cleanly convert all the data into tabular text, it did it fast, and conveniently batch processed multiple files. I made my deadline thanks to PDF2TXT!

Works Great. I'm using pdf2txt to convert a pdf document on the fly from a vbscript by executing a shell command. Works flawlessly!

I actually wasn`t able to use it very much. I had to format my computer and found a 'codec' that does the conversion for free and that's all I needed. But it did work well! Thanks.

Antivirus program complained about a Trojan Horse during installation and start of the program. have uninstalled immediately, not tried at all to work with it. regardsJoerg

It appears to be a useful program, but I am still trying to figure it out. I is a bit complicated and there is not much help available. Hopefully with some time I can figure it out through trial and error.

It took me a while to figure out how it works, but works totally fine after all.

Trial for Work I used this on my personal machine to trial it for business purposes and was immedately impressed. Will suggest we purcase this for the business.

Technical Issues for this program. The only reason I have rated Interface, Features, Ease of Use and Price/Value at POOR, is that the program did not open. I loaded the program and I got a window saying that I have 27 launches left, I hit open and I get a window saying please restart for Flash Player 6+, I got the launch window again but when I hit open the window disapeared and nothing happened, I wish I could review this better but I'm afraid I was not able to see the program actually running. Excellent software. Excellent and easy to use program.

I am still trying to learn how to use Textaizer Pro. Without detailed instructions I find it hard to do so I will reserve my comments until after I have completed a project.
